The Manager, Corporate Digital Content, is the Corporate Communications team’s project manager in support of the company’s efforts to engage and grow its social media audiences. The Manager is responsible for planning and developing written and video content in collaboration with members of the corporate content team. The Manager reports to the Director of Communications and Corporate Content and works closely with the Vice President of Corporate Communications and the Senior Vice President of External Affairs. The position is based in San Francisco. The Manager will: Manage a weekly and monthly editorial calendar of content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Support social media channel leaders with copywriting and digital content creation. Manage audience strategy and all video postings on the company’s YouTube channel. Support community management for each channel, including identifying issues and conversation threads that might affect company reputation. Track cross-channel audience engagement and help support targets for growth. Collaborate and guide designer on visual content creation to align with social post and ad copy. Manage content to align with brand guidelines and maintain cross-channel consistency. Manage coaching and social media training requests to support Corporate Communication and External Affairs colleagues in the delivery of content/messages. Collaborate with internal clients (including Marketing, Human Resources and all lines of business) on requests for social media posts and campaigns. Work closely with key workstreams in External Affairs (Government Relations, Thought Leadership and Reputation, Corporate Citizenship) on content needs.


The successful candidate will have: Post-secondary training in media and social media content, as well as experience working in a Corporate setting managing content schedules and delivering high quality content. Familiarity with using enterprise content and social media management software such as Spredfast, Outbrain and Airtable. Video production capabilities. A familiarity of news media in California and nationally, with direct experience in health care an asset. A track record of managing executive participation at external speaking events. Experience managing external vendors (such as video and graphics provided by PR or marketing agencies) on budget. Physical
