Reporting to the Assistant Vice President Student Affairs: Engagement & Inclusive Excellence, the Director has overall responsibility for the activities, programs, and operations of the Office of Inclusion: Multicultural & LGBTQIA Student Services (IMQ) at Northern Arizona University (NAU). IMQ serves all students focusing on gender identity, sexual orientation, and racially & ethnically diverse populations. Through academic support, holistic guidance, identity development, 1:1 mentoring, programming, and partnerships across campus, IMQ advocates for students to become the best versions of themselves. IMQ offers resources and support to empower students to become self-sufficient and reach their goals. The Director of IMQ must be a collaborative leader, responsible for directing the staff in the development and delivery of programs and services designed specifically to achieve persistence and graduation rates equal to or above the overall university average for students who have been historically underrepresented and underserved in higher education. Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree AND six years’ experience working with students in higher education OR a combination of work experience and education and/or student mentoring programming and/or student success programming, which includes two years supervising and coordinating the work of others; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by Human Resources. Salary Range
