Full time Legal Nonprofit

Job Description

Towards Justice is a Denver-based nonprofit law firm on the cutting edge of worker justice advocacy. We use impact litigation and policy advocacy to support and collaborate with workers and workers’ organizations in challenging systemic impediments to worker power. We help workers pursue wide-ranging claims under antitrust, anti-slavery, and consumer protection statutes as well as wage-and-hour and anti-discrimination claims to challenge a variety of abuses of corporate power.

Towards Justice seeks a mid- to senior-level attorney to join our team and expand our capacity to empower workers through impact litigation. The person in this role will engage in fact investigations, spot issues, develop creative legal strategies, and manage positive client and co-counsel relationships. The ideal candidate would have 6+ years of experience, including experience in complex litigation efforts, the ability to work independently, comfort learning new areas of law, and a passion for working with marginalized communities. Candidates who live in Denver or are willing to relocate to Denver will be at an advantage, but we will consider applications from candidates who intend to work remotely.

The application process is rolling, and the position will stay open until filled.

Salary and Benefits: Salary for the attorney in this position will be $95,000+ depending on experience. Benefits include full coverage of healthcare premiums for staff and family, a generous paid leave policy, a retirement program with employer matching contributions, and long-term disability insurance.
