Job Purpose

The Treasury Team at National Grid is responsible for aiding in the finance promise to set a clear direction and framework for delivery, so every day our employees do the right thing, find a better way, and make it happen. Our teams are looking for ways to innovate so that we can work smarter and support the requirements of a rapidly transforming energy industry. 

Key Accountabilities

The internship role within the Treasury Team will assist the team in a wide variety of projects. The intern for the Treasury Team will gain experience in the finance and corporate world, learn about the different departments within finance, and will learn how to fund our operating companies. The intern will also work on various ad-hoc projects as necessary.

Qualifications

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Curious mindset, ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint a plus
  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree
  • Applicant must have accumulated 18 or more credits and be 18 years of age
  • Authorized to work in the United States for the entire duration of the internship
  • Currently being registered as a full-time student in a college or university
  • Continuing your education full time for the Spring 2021 Semester
  • Applicants for the Gridtern Program must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States
