Job Purpose

Reporting to the Director, of Strategy and Performance in NY Gas, this key role will provide insightful data analysis and interpretation, leadership around end-to end process and seamless cross-functional teamwork.  This key individual will need to understand the business drivers that impact operational performance; including financial, regulatory, operational, capital, and stakeholder engagement.  

Key Accountabilities

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Support and implement an integrated portfolio of performance and improvement opportunities
  • Advocate outcomes and recommendations to cross functional audiences through written reports and oral presentations to provide analytic support and insight on financial results and operational productivity
  • Drive the process for performance/process reporting for the NY Gas COO Operations performance review and other key reporting requirements by working collaboratively to increase operational efficiency  
  • Cultivate successful working relationships to ensure consistent operational performance support, especially in key areas such as policy, strategy and information systems 


  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline and 7+ years of business experience preferred
  • In lieu of degree, 10+ years of business experience required
  • 3+ years of experience in performance management, automation, reporting and working with external agencies/stakeholders required 
  • Demonstrated ability to work well across all company functions with staff from a diverse range of backgrounds and experience. 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strong understanding of visual management tools such as Power BI preferred
  • Experience with development/analytic tools such as Power Apps, Microsoft Flow, Alteryx preferred
  • Programming experience (Python) preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
