Research!America is looking for a Manager of Policy and Advocacy to join our team.
The Manager of Policy and Advocacy brings Hill experience or other policy and advocacy experience to help Research!America deliver on its mission to improve health through science, discover and innovation. We are looking for a team member who brings superior strategic thinking abilities, strong analytical aptitude, solid project management experience and great communications skills. The Manager will conduct research on an array of issues related to Research!America’s advocacy and policy work and supervise the development of special reports, fact sheets, and other advocacy materials to support advocacy activities. This highly visible position will organize and lead Hill meetings on behalf of Research!America, and participate in Hill meetings with partner organizations. We are seeking candidates with an undergraduate degree in public policy, government, science or relevant field along with a minimum of five years of congressional, government relations, or advocacy experience or three years of experience with a Master’s degree in a related field.
