Role OverviewAn experienced 140M Motor Grader Operator is sought to join the Fine Grade team at Hoopaugh Grading Company, LLC (HGC). The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 140M Motor Grader to achieve accurate grades and quality finishes across various HGC projects.
What You Will Do
The operator will perform daily walk-around inspections, safely and efficiently operate the motor grader, make successive passes to achieve the required grade, and adjust the grader blade and controls to achieve proper material placement and grade.

Requirements
- 2+ years of experience operating a 140M Motor Grader
- Strong understanding of fine grading and finish grading operations
- Ability to read and interpret grade stakes and construction elevations
- Experience using GPS grade-control systems and/or stringline/string tracer systems
- Experience with robotic grade-control systems is preferred
- Knowledge of wet setting stone for asphalt and concrete paving
- Ability to operate a motor grader with precision around existing infrastructure
- Ability to understand site goals and follow direction from Foremen and Superintendents
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a construction crew
- Safety-focused mindset and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
- Ability to pass HGC's pre-employment drug and background screening
- A clean driving record
