Role OverviewThe 1st Shift Porter is responsible for exceeding customer expectations by assuring the safe transportation and delivery of food to customer locations, following company policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
The Porter will be responsible for assuring shipment of temperature-controlled and undamaged product, proper count of goods at customer locations, and assuring inventory levels are FIFO in the customer locations.

Requirements
- 1-3 years in related position, experience in sanitation required
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Ability to lift 20-50 pounds regularly
- Ability to respond quickly to sounds
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
- Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
- Ability to work for short period of time in cooler and freezer
- Lifting, carrying, walking, standing kneeling, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling for long periods
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to follow detailed cleaning procedures and implement or improve on existing ones
- Work with cleaning chemicals daily
- Ability to operate sanitation equipment (mop, broom and or vacuum)
- Ordering various cleaning supplies
