Job Description
USCS is seeking a Full Time 1ST SHIFT WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for shipping and receiving, checking inventory, loading and unloading trailers, and operating equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous high reach forklift and/or warehouse training
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs with assistance on an occasional basis
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
  • Ability to speak and hear for safety and productivity
  • Ability to use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery
  • Ability to lift overhead
  • Ability to work overtime is an essential part of this position due to demand
  • Ability to drive a registered motor vehicle to satisfy daily requirements
  • Ability to work in an atmosphere range of + 34 to - 10 degrees F with a moderate noise level
  • Ability to maintain a professional manner in appearance and communications
  • Ability to participate in staff and/or customer meetings if required
  • Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems
  • Ability to identify and record any issues relating to product, processes and/or quality
  • Ability to initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through appropriate channels
  • Ability to verify the implementation of solutions
  • Ability to follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building
  • Ability to follow safety procedures at all times
  • Ability to participate in Safety and Educational Training
