Job Description
Textron Systems is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I/II to develop solutions in support of unmanned surface vehicles programs, including designing, simulating, constructing, and field-testing autonomous surface vehicles and their subsystems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in mechanical engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, or a related field with 0 – 2 years of experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including preparation of design documentation
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio)
  • Desire and ability to operate in a team environment
  • Desire and ability to lead teams or individuals in design, manufacturing, or troubleshooting taskings
  • Familiarity with and ability to use computer-aided design tools is required; Solidworks and Autocad are preferred, MagicDraw and Jira are a plus
  • Experience designing tests for military environmental, shock, and vibration qualifications
