Job Description
The Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks applicants for the position Seasonal Laborer II at Lawrence Heritage State Park for the 2026 Summer season. As a Seasonal Laborer II, you will perform various manual labor tasks to assist in the work of skilled tradesmen and craftsmen. The position requires a minimum of six months of full-time experience in performing manual labor in connection with general construction or maintenance work.

Requirements

  • Six months of full-time, or equivalent part-time experience in performing manual labor in connection with general construction or maintenance work
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and materials
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Ability to operate hand held power tools, tapping machines and rodding machines
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles including light vehicles, trucks, etc.
