Role OverviewTD Securities offers a 10-week Quantitative Internship Rotation Program where participants complete two rotations in different business areas, gaining insight into the Global Markets, Quantitative & Modeling Analytics, and Risk & Valuation groups. The program includes onboarding, peer mentoring, professional training, and networking with senior leaders. High-performing interns may receive a full-time offer upon completion.
What You Will Do
Interns work closely with sales and trading teams, develop analytical tools to research market data and create trading ideas, use data science and statistics for actionable insights, and build mathematical models for valuation, risk management, and algorithmic trading. They also evaluate new products, create automation tools, generate market views, and present research to teams.

Requirements
- Graduation date Fall to December 2027 (master's degree or higher)
- Enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in: Statistics, Applied or Computational Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, Quantitative Finance, Operations Research, Data Science, Engineering or related quantitative field
- Computer programming skills and use of statistical software packages such as Python, R, SAS, SQL, Spark, Java, and C++
- Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
