Role Overview

TD Bank offers a 10-week, non-rotational Summer Internship Program in Risk Management. The intern supports their Line of Business in developing and executing work projects to support business goals and objectives. Risk Management protects TD Bank, customers, colleagues, and communities with teams specializing in Compliance, Financial Risk Management, Financial Crime Risk Management, Market & Liquidity Risk Management, Non-Financial Risk Management, Office of the Chief Risk Officer, Regulatory Relationships, Treasury Risk Management, and Loan Review. The internship is in-person in Mount Laurel, NJ; New York, NY; Charlotte, NC; Greenville, SC; or Portland, ME.

What You Will Do

The intern will gain valuable insight into TD's vision to Build The Better Bank while strengthening core skills and knowledge. The program includes professional experiences, development training, networking opportunities with senior leaders, a formal peer-mentoring program, and community service projects. Interns may also join the rotational analyst program upon graduation and participate in the 6 Week Innovation Challenge and VR experience.

Requirements

  • Pursuing post secondary degree in business- related disciplines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to take initiative and accountability of your actions
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Detail oriented with an ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • You must be work authorized in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship
  • Anticipated graduation between December 2027 - June 2028 preferred
