Requirements

  • Manage a territory of guaranteed cost and loss sensitive business as a life-cycle underwriter
  • Engage with partner agents and brokers to promote company products and services
  • Grow business by partnering with local field marketing reps to drive submission activity
  • Evaluate and document contractor exposures and controls
  • Price business to achieve positive returns within the framework of the organization's risk appetite
  • Effectively negotiate renewals to achieve business unit goals
  • Proactively engage insureds in the assigned territory, developing and executing on stewardship service plans
