Job Description
Make a difference with a career in insurance at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies. We're looking for a Sales and Marketing department employee to be a field-based underwriter, evaluating, assessing, and pricing risks while leading profitable growth for our agency partners in the Utah territory.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Willingness to travel and visit agencies within territory regularly
  • Strategic business plan development skills
  • Passion for leading
  • Valid driver's license
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of industry experience
  • Proven experience in underwriting, a minimum of 2 years of multiline commercial underwriting experience, more than 3 years preferred
  • Relevant insurance industry certifications (e.g., Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), professional selling) are a plus
