Job Description
This is a full-time teaching position for a 26-27 year old student in the School District of Philadelphia, teaching social studies and ELA to 7-8th grade students. The teacher plans and teaches their subject area, provides instruction, and uses real life applications and simulations to instruct students.
Requirements
Assesses the skill level of students and aligns classroom goals and activities to established state and local standards
Provides instruction in respective subject area(s)
Provides students with instruction emphasizing real life applications and simulations
Collaborates with staff members within and across disciplines to integrate subject-specific skills across the curriculum
Benefits
Salary range from $55,771 to $97,852
