Job Description
This is a full-time teaching position in the School District of Philadelphia. The teacher will plan and teach Health & Phys Ed to K-12 students, following the scope and sequence for all courses. The salary ranges from $55,771 to $97,852, depending on education and experience.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area, OR meet requirements to obtain an emergency permit and ability to consistently meet emergency permit requirements until instructional certification can be issued
Demonstrated knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of grade level education, subject specific expertise, and critical thinking methodologies and problem-solving techniques
