Job Description
This is a Philadelphia Federal Teacher Union (PFT) represented position teaching Special Education-Autistic Support to students in a public school. The teacher will plan and teach their subject area, follow the scope and sequence for all courses, and provide instruction to students in a variety of planned courses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area, OR meet requirements to obtain an emergency permit
  • Demonstrated knowledge of principles, practices, and methods of grade level education, subject specific expertise, and critical thinking methodologies and problem-solving techniques
