Job Description
A 26-27SY Teacher, Full-Time - English 7-12 position is available at the Philadelphia Juvenile Justice Services Center. The teacher will plan and teach English 7-12, following the scope and sequence for all courses, and provide instruction to students in a variety of planned courses. The salary range is $55,771 to $97,852, depending on level of education and years of experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area
  • Meet requirements to obtain an emergency permit and ability to consistently meet emergency permit requirements until instructional certification can be issued
