Job Description
This is a full-time teaching position in the School District of Philadelphia, teaching special education to students at the Philadelphia Juvenile Justice Services Center. The position involves planning and teaching subject areas, providing instruction, and using real life applications and simulations to instruct students.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area, OR meet requirements to obtain an emergency permit and ability to consistently meet emergency permit requirements until instructional certification can be issued
