Job Description
Teach science and/or math to 7-8 grade students in the School District of Philadelphia. Responsibilities include planning and teaching subject area, assessing student skills, and providing instruction using real-life applications and simulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area, OR meet requirements to obtain an emergency permit and ability to consistently meet emergency permit requirements until instructional certification can be issued
Demonstrated knowledge of grade level education, subject specific expertise, and use of technological innovations in the development of solutions to learning problems
