Job Description
Teaches social studies and science to 7th and 8th grade students, following the scope and sequence for all courses. Provides instruction using real-life applications and simulations, and incorporates technology to instruct students. Assess student skill levels and align classroom goals and activities to established state and local standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area, OR ability to obtain an emergency permit and consistently meet emergency permit requirements until instructional certification can be issued
