Job Description
The 26-27SY Teacher, Full-time Special Education-Learning Support position teaches subject area, follows scope and sequence, and provides instruction to students in various planned courses. The teacher must assess students' skill levels and align classroom goals and activities to established state and local standards. The teacher must also provide technical expertise in the use of tools, materials, processes, and applications of technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area
  • Meet requirements to obtain an emergency permit and ability to consistently meet emergency permit requirements until instructional certification can be issued
