Job Description

Requirements

  • Five years of underwriting experience, preferably with a focus on the construction sector
  • Working knowledge of large account marketing and underwriting, including awareness of loss sensitive programs, familiarity with collateral concepts, wrap-ups and other contractor specific coverage
  • Analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
  • Understanding of portfolio management and ability to balance growth and profit dynamics to achieve company targets
  • Self-starter with creative thinking and an ability to create opportunity
  • Willingness to travel
