Requirements

  • Investigating and evaluating workers’ compensation insurance claims to ensure accurate settlements
  • Interviewing insureds, claimants and witnesses
  • Reviewing hospital records
  • Evaluating claim facts and application of workers’ compensation statutes
  • Performing medical management of claims files
  • Preparing reports of findings and securing claims completion with claimants
  • Using claims-handling software, company car, laptop and phone to adjust losses in a paperless environment
  • Providing superior and professional customer service
