Job Description
Pennwood Cyber Charter School seeks a high-quality, state-certified Social Worker to join their staff. The Social Worker will provide services that strengthen home/school/community partnerships and alleviate barriers to learning.

Requirements

  • Highly qualified and certified School Social Worker (CSPG 87) in Pennsylvania
  • Master’s degree in social work
  • Self-motivated and eager to create a positive difference in the lives of at-risk students
  • Experience with special education preferred
  • Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Highly organized and punctual
  • Student-centric
  • High degree of flexibility and agility
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in fast paced environment
  • Evidenced team player track record
  • Willingness to travel for state testing, school and marketing events (may require overnight travel)
  • Ability to work occasional evening hours, as needed to support students and families
  • Ability to effectively work remotely
