2nd Shift Assembler

Job Description
Assemble fabricated components and materials according to customer quality requirements and United Alloy manufacturing philosophies. Perform tasks such as inspecting product, tagging material and product, and operating overhead cranes. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with high noise levels, dust, chemicals, oil, and grease.

Requirements

  • Exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes, tape measure, caliper, basic hand tools and air tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Forklift certification training with the safety team to operate a forklift
  • Ability to record time accurately using the data collection system
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist
