2nd Shift Assembly Solder Technician II (Onsite)

As a 2nd Shift Assembly Solder Technician II, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing electronic units using prescribed repair techniques. You will identify correct parts, components, wires, and other materials, remove suspect and failed components, solder electronic components, and operate assembly machines. You will also measure, mix, and apply chemicals and adhesives, and read and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals, assembly instructions, and engineering prints.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assembling and repairing electronic units, identifying correct parts and components, soldering electronic components, operating assembly machines, and measuring and mixing chemicals and adhesives.

Requirements

• Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience or In the absence of a HS Diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours
• Certification of IPC Class III Solder Exam
• Experience with electronic assembly
• Experience in the aerospace industry
