Role OverviewAs a CNC Machinist/Operator at Gleason Cutting Tools Corporation, you will perform department processes that include both documentation-based tasks and hands-on machine operations. You will work with CNC equipment such as lathes, boring mills, milling machines, grinding machines, and shapers—producing precision components in an environment that values doing things right the first time.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include reading and interpreting blueprints, program readouts, and technical directives to determine and obtain materials and cutting tools for the job. You will also complete machine set ups, follow detailed instructions, align parts in the machine, and use measuring instruments to achieve and maintain critical dimensions and tolerances during the machining process.
