Job Description
Milwaukee Valve Company is looking for a 2nd Shift Foundry Floater Trainee to join their Prairie Du Sac, WI team. The position has a starting hourly wage of $21.74 plus a 4.5% shift premium. The job requires training in various production areas of the foundry department and includes responsibilities such as cored setting, molding, grinding, coremaking, and melting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
