Job Description
O’Neal Steel is seeking a 2nd shift Operations Supervisor to supervise the processing, loading, and shipping of orders to meet customer quality and delivery expectations, while maintaining safety and cost standards.

Requirements

  • Supervise warehouse and delivery employees
  • Ensure personnel have appropriate training and tools
  • Coordinate and execute production work schedule
  • Develop cross training opportunities for employees
  • Supervise shop activities to ensure quality standards
  • Assign tasks and overtime to meet delivery dates
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles
  • Evaluate service levels and recommend staffing adjustments
  • Administer employee policies and practices
  • Monitor department operating budgets and meet established goals
