Role OverviewThe 3rd Shift Industrial Painter reports to the Shop Foreman and is responsible for priming materials according to AISC specs. The role involves working in a paint booth and the shop, performing odd jobs, and assisting in the transformation of the shop floor culture to one of Continuous Improvement and Accountability.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities include operating equipment safely, using correct paint equipment settings, performing daily maintenance routines, identifying and masking areas not to be painted, and inspecting paint jobs for quality problems.

Requirements

- Knowledge and Skills: ability to use a sprayer, work in a paint booth, use hand and/or power tools and equipment, operate a Lull, Skid Loader, and Fork Lift
- Experience: some experience in industrial painting
- Physical: ability to walk and stand on feet for extended periods, lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs, crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder, and work long hours
