3rd Shift Machine Operator

We are seeking a 3rd Shift Machine Operator to join our team at Great Northern Corporation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and previous experience or mechanical aptitude. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment to produce corrugated packaging solutions. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include operating machinery, reading English, interpreting documents, and performing mathematical calculations. You will also be expected to work weekends and overtime when needed, and be flexible to move from task to task on short notice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure, manuals and order specifications
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Mechanical and spatial aptitude
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
• Ability to move from task/assignment to another on short notice
• Flexible to working weekends and overtime when needed
