Role OverviewThe 3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor will direct all functions of the maintenance workforce, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, adherence to safety and quality standards, and effective team leadership. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a plant or manufacturing environment and at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles and skilled in Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving methods.
What You Will Do
The Maintenance Supervisor will provide daily supervisory leadership to the hourly maintenance workforce, oversee maintenance contractor coordination, and enforce safety policies through inspections and hazard assessments. They will also analyze downtime trends, track maintenance metrics, and implement reliability process improvements.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a plant or manufacturing environment
- At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Food or beverage industry experience preferred
- Proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles (Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, and other disciplines)
- Skilled in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), and problem-solving methods (DMAIC, 5-Why, A3)
- Strong knowledge of maintenance CMMS systems
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while optimizing equipment reliability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of maintenance best practices, GMP, OSHA, and quality control procedures
