Role OverviewThe Order Picker is responsible for using the Shop Floor Inventory system to locate product, operating a forklift/high-lift to pick product, and utilizing heavy machinery to wrap pallets. The role requires effective verbal and written communication, following Food Safety Guidelines, and adhering to Housekeeping Procedures.
What You Will Do
The Order Picker will use a forklift/high-lift to pick product, utilize heavy machinery to wrap pallets, and demonstrate safe work practices. The role requires the ability to lift up to 100lbs consistently throughout the shift and work in a cold weather environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate should have experience operating a forklift and/or high lift, be able to demonstrate safe work practices, and have an understanding of logistics of loading a trailer. The role requires the ability to train for 3 weeks on the 1st shift.
