Role OverviewWe are looking for a 3rd shift packager to work in a team environment, operating and adjusting packaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate will have basic math and reading skills, good computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 40lbs. The position requires standing for extended periods, frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive movements.
What You Will Do
Independently monitors, operates, and adjusts various packaging equipment, accurately completes production packaging paperwork, and troubleshoots minor equipment problems. The packager will also be responsible for placing rolls in boxes, picking up rolls from the press, and recording time and production for job costing.
