Job Description
USCS is seeking a 3rd Shift Warehouse Associate to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for shipping and receiving, checking, over, short, and damage, inventory, order picking, loading, and equipment operation. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and previous high reach forklift and/or warehouse training is required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous high reach forklift and/or warehouse training
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs with assistance on an occasional basis
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
  • Ability to speak and hear for safety and productivity
  • Ability to use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery
  • Ability to lift overhead
  • Ability to work overtime is an essential part of this position due to demand
  • Ability to drive a registered motor vehicle to satisfy daily requirements
  • Acceptable and/or correctable vision
  • Ability to work in an atmosphere range of + 34 to - 10 degrees F with a moderate noise level
  • Personal interaction and communication required to and from other people is extremely high
  • Good arithmetic and reading skills
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal instruction, written instruction and company policies
  • Self-starter that can work independently and coordinate with others
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment with the ability to manage stress and productivity guidelines
