Role OverviewThe Elementary School Teacher - 5th Grade is responsible for planning and providing for appropriate classroom learning experiences for students. The teacher is responsible for supervising students, monitoring and evaluating student outcomes, and communicating with students, parents, staff, and the community. The teacher develops, selects, and modifies instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students.

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Elementary School Teacher - 5th Grade include utilizing assessment strategies, ensuring effective communication techniques, engaging in continuous professional quality improvement, and implementing classroom instructional strategies that reflect each student's culture, learning styles, special needs, and socio-economic background.
