Job Description
The 5th Street Diner Host are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests, influencing the overall restaurant experience by their interactions, providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations.

Requirements

  • A friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • High-energy and personable, especially during busy morning service
  • Previous customer service required
  • Ability to multi task (use phone, computer, ipad, simultaneous and regularly)
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • A desire to exceed guest expectations
  • Ability to stand for long period of time
  • Work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team
  • Must be able to work early mornings
  • Flexible schedule - willing and able to work early morning shifts, weekends and holidays
