Role OverviewTeach 6-8 grade math, responsible for instructional planning, implementing methods, and evaluating pupil progress. Work under the supervision of the school principal and participate in programs to improve student attendance and promote anti-vandalism. Establish and maintain classroom rules and communicate with parents and guardians.
What You Will Do
Teach 6-8 grade math, develop and implement lesson plans, and maintain accurate records of pupil achievements. Participate in in-service meetings, professional staff meetings, and coordinate class field trips. Work in extra-curricular and after-school activities.

Requirements
- Successful completion of all student teaching requirements and coursework to obtain a teaching certificate issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.

- Knowledge of subject matter, contemporary principles of teaching, and classroom management techniques
- Ability to modify instruction to meet student needs, cooperate with school faculty and administration, and work effectively with pupils, parents, and staff
