Job Description
The Regional Lead serves as the primary point of contact for rural health transformation sub-awardees within their assigned region. This role is responsible for oversight, monitoring, performance tracking, and provision of technical assistance to ensure all sub-awardees meet federal and state grant requirements.

Requirements

  • Serve as the main liaison between AHCA and all sub-awardees within the assigned region.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and progress of sub-awardees to ensure alignment with the scope, objectives, terms, and conditions of their grant awards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor program implementation, assess performance, and identify areas requiring support or corrective action.
  • Provide ongoing technical assistance to sub-awardees, including guidance on program implementation, reporting requirements, budget adherence, and compliance.
  • Lead regularly scheduled check-in calls or meetings with sub-awardees to review progress, outcomes, risks, and needs.
  • Monitor sub-awardees' adherence to grant requirements, state and federal regulations, and performance expectations.
  • Identify sub-awardees performing strongly or facing performance challenges, document findings, and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Develop and issue compliance actions when sub-awardees are not meeting grant conditions, and track resolution of corrective actions.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all monitoring activities, communications, compliance issues, and technical assistance provided.
  • Prepare regular reports summarizing regional progress, challenges, outcomes, and trends for program leadership.
  • Collaborate with program leadership and other Regional Leads to ensure consistent implementation across the state.
  • Represent the program at regional meetings, stakeholder convenings, and partner events.
  • Work with federal partners, as needed, to ensure grant compliance and to support joint activities such as site visits, monitoring calls, or other federal oversight processes.
