Job Description
REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT seeks a dedicated and skilled teacher to provide academic English language development to long-term English Learner students in a Middle School setting. The teacher will provide direct instruction, assess student progress, and collaborate with other teachers to make instruction effective for English Learners.
Requirements
California Teaching Credential
Excellent written communication skills
Familiarity with second language acquisition process and current research-based methods for teaching English learners
Ability to communicate effectively with students of linguistically and culturally diverse learners
Minimum of three years classroom teaching experience
Bilingual Spanish
