Role OverviewThe 8th Grade Physics Teacher will ensure the day-to-day exceptional education of students by preparing and facilitating subject-specific lesson plans. The teacher will implement the established BASIS Curriculum while tailoring specific topics to integrate their knowledge and passion for the subject.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Physics Teacher include preparing and facilitating subject and grade-specific lesson plans, providing subject instruction on a higher level than grade-standard in an interactive learning environment, and implementing the BASIS Curriculum by designing effective and creative lessons and assessments.

To be a fit for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in subject matter or education, and a valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and 2+ years of teaching experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree)
