Job Description
9th-12th Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher is responsible for implementing research-based instructional strategies, developing a school and classroom culture conducive to student learning, and providing individualized instruction to students with diverse needs. The teacher will work under the direction of the school principal and/or assistant principal and will be expected to participate in activities of educational committees and organizations for personal growth and the general promotion of the profession.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Education required; Master's Degree preferred.
Alaska Teacher Certificate required.
Three years of experience in education preferred.
Inupiaq, Language, History & Culture experience preferred.
