Role Overview

As an ABA Therapist, you will actively participate in professional development and extracurricular activities, manage student behavior according to shared expectations and ABA guidelines, engage families and community members in the learning process, and provide constant attention to and interaction with the assigned student.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering community-based instruction, working collaboratively with colleagues to implement and reinforce a consistently positive, creative, and solutions-oriented school culture, and accurately summarizing and graphing data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience working with children and/or adults with autism
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Flexibility, patience, perception, and empathy
  • A 'Can-Do' attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidential information about students and their families
  • Ability to care for students in a caring and professional manner
