Job Description
NYC Parks is seeking a Abatement Project Manager to oversee the development, implementation and regulatory compliance for NYC Parks property requiring asbestos, lead paint, mold and PCB testing, abatement and air monitoring.

Requirements

  • Planning, coordinating, and scheduling the development and implementation of environmental projects
  • Assisting in the development of bid documents, contracts, and work orders related to industrial hygiene assessments and abatement
  • Preparing reports and tracking progress, records, and budget schedules of environmental projects
  • Evaluating environmental engineering estimates and reports prepared by outside contractors
  • Managing administrative aspects of abatement contracts and monitoring work orders and payments
  • Overseeing consultant-led sampling and abatement activities
  • Performing industrial hygiene assessments and coordinating with Parks staff
  • Reviewing hazardous materials reports and deliverable packages for regulatory compliance
