Role Overview

The ABSN Program Manager will oversee the implementation and delivery of the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program across all didactic, lab, and clinical experiences. This position will serve as the academic liaison for all satellite learning centers, working to coordinate academic consistency and support the Peavy School of Nursing's objectives of providing high-quality educational programs. The Director will facilitate and coordinate communication for program expansion, operations, and policy development, working closely with the appropriate teams.

What You Will Do

The ABSN Program Manager will translate the curriculum delivery across settings to maintain academic integrity, program outcomes, and student success. This includes working with distant sites to address site-specific situations and concerns, interviewing and recommending qualified candidates for site faculty and staff positions, and evaluating lab and clinical faculty. The Director will also supervise Directors of Nursing Academic Services on all matters concerning curriculum and teaching.

Requirements

  • PhD or DNP degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of BSN program teaching experience
  • Current licensure as RN in the state of Texas
