Job Description
The Academic Advisor will provide programmatic and course guidance to new, returning, and transfer students. They will create academic plans using DegreeWorks and EAB Navigate, and collaborate with other departments to participate in intervention retention strategies for students at risk of falling into academic jeopardy.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in education, counseling, human services or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience involving college admissions, academic advisement, and/or career development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Ability to relate to and work well with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff
