Role OverviewThe Academic Coordinator provides leadership for a school's Literacy, Math, or Science program, organizing and leading a team to develop plans, guide teachers, and analyze data. The role involves expertise in reading and writing, communication, and instructional organization.
What You Will Do
Supports teachers through conferences, observations, and analysis of student results; shares effective instructional strategies; assists with unit and lesson planning; and collaborates with teachers to build a knowledge base of core content areas.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a relevant field, and 4 years of classroom experience, with a valid state of Tennessee teacher licensure certification.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction or other relevant field of study
- Endorsement in the content area directly related to area of assignment
- Four (4) years of classroom experience related to the area of assignment
