Job Description
The Academic Oversight Analyst serves as a liaison between the Ohio Department of Higher Education and institutions of higher education to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. The role monitors institutions for continuous compliance, reviews policies and practices, and advises on potential areas of concern. The position also assists in the implementation of policies and processes related to program authorization and institutional reauthorization.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree (JD preferred)
  • Supervisory or management experience
  • Previous experience with institutional and professional accreditation agencies
  • Excellent communication and data analytic skills
  • Ability to interpret and disseminate high-level policy and procedures
  • Ability to relate professionally with a wide variety of stakeholders
